I’m having the same problem! I lost so much weight and I am at that point where I’ve been stuggling to get down to a lower weight (for the same reason you are). Its been a year and I did get close a few months ago, but I gained through self sabotage and depression. I hope you explore this topic more, because those of us who have been successful at weight loss have different/significant issues as well those just starting their weight loss journey.
1. Is this the lowest weight you have achieved in your adult life since you have been deliberately losing weight? If not, what was the lowest you previously achieved.
2. You are 27 pounds away from the -100lbs goal you set at the beginning of the year, but you are a size 5 now. That’s pretty small. Do you still believe you could stand to lose the remaining 27 pounds and still be at a healthy weight?
I want to add that of course there are MANY “techniques” that would serve to “solve” the challenge u describe of getting & staying at your “ideal” weight. One recommendation I read was to “go raw.” I happen to agree wholeheartedly that whole food, eaten as close to how it GREW naturally is probably the way of eating our bodies best know how to handle. Most everything outside that category tends to throw off our natural feedback mechanisms for fullness/satiety, etc. HOWEVER, I wanted to …
(cont.) … practitioner in your area could be one of the best adjuncts to working through and ultimately overcoming WHATEVER seems to keep you from the goals you SAY you would like to achieve. Although you can certainly learn rudimentary EFT and practice it ON yourself FOR yourself, working with a SKILLED practitioner can get u where u want to go so much more quickly & really is the best way to go, initially. hm idk.. i don’t think you need to change anything really.. you’re just living in the moment. maybe it is a block, but i don’t really see it like that.. i just think you should make smart replacements and you will get there. like instead of sweets, have something hot like tea or coffee (for some reason those give the same effect) and the things that just aren’t good for you, find alternatives that will satisfy you just as much
… (at least, this is what happened to me in the past.) i think it might help to make a new plan. that can be just keep your current weight and be relaxed about it, or maybe lose a few more pounds (while realizing that those last pounds will come off very very slowly). or you can decide to get in form even more, which will probably mean you’ve got to exercise more. everything is possible girl! just keep relaxed and positive
maybe what’s going on is that right now you lack a definite goal. what i mean is, in the beginning of this year, you knew exactly what you wanted: you were going to lose 100 pounds and you knew it was necessary because you could not go on like this. but now, everything is different. you’ve lost a lot of weight, you have a healthy weight now and you can just stop right now. but than what!? help! …

Maybe just be disciplined for set amounts of time, like so many days a week, or one month, then go back to your way. I never would have guessed you have this issue though since youve done fasts in the past, etc, seems like you have to be disciplined to do that sort of thing, good luck, you will figure it out.
yeah the touchpad on my laptop has been becoming unresponsive, if anyone knows why this keeps happening and how i can fix this from continuing let me know.
A lower weight won’t help you not regain. Having removed everything that makes you eat more than your body needs will. Discipline is so much not the solution here.
hey I am exactly the same and am in exactly the same place as you. Needing to get into the lower end of my healthy weight range, finding it really hard, not disciplined, scared I am NEVER going to get there!! What to do?! haha!!
