Thee best walnut ‘meat’! Thank you, Ani! <3
I just tried this and it was surprisingly good! Really good! I was originally craving pasta with cherry tomatoes, but when i saw this video made this instead. Its very filling and super tasty. I think if you let the tomato part sit long, it’ll be even more flavorful.
I will definitely make this again.
oh no way. chilli cannot be substituted. its hot ground beef (lean!) with beans and chilli powder (cumin actually) and lots of lovely tomato passata. this recipe is setting yourself up for raw food depression.
Thanks for the video and effort it takes to make them
Did you say corn? how can you eat raw corn? it’s rock hard and tastes awful…. also all cereal contain neuro-toxins… I always get little ‘bumps’ (pocks) on my tongue after eating cereal.
Creative recipes like this is why you are my favorite chef!
Nice salad.
I have recently heard that the nuts in the large bulk bins at the grocery store could be rancid. There is no real way to tell. Ani, where do you buy your nuts and seeds?
@aniphyo FDA also say’s fluoride and chlorine are safe to consume. Drop the FDA line they don’t care about your health.
I like nut’s occasionally & I have tried recipe’s w/ nut’s & liked them. But now I’m about to gag everytime I see a raw food recipe w/ nut’s. What else could you substitute for the nut’s?
You have totally changed my view of raw food. Thank you so much!!
i just made the chilli and the taco meat…. it was Sooo good!! usually when I try raw recipes they turn out so bland… but this was flavourful!! … instead of using nama shoyu soya sauce(couldn’t find it) i used tamari sauce turned out fine

@Smileeen not a whole book, but in Ani’s new book “Raw Food Essentials” she has a chapter on kimchi and other fermented foods. it was the ONLY thing missing from her first book IMO.
@skycub99 Is there a new book about KimChi?
Grisely meat?
This is the only chili I’ve ever made (raw or not) that actually tastes like chili, opposed to tomatoes coated with chili powder.
wow reali nice recipe but can anyone tell me if you eat this on its own like shown or can you serve with something like rice etc?
Thank you so much for this recipe! I absolutely loved it and will make the pineapple icecream next. I’m not a fan of celery, so I used cucumbers instead but it tasted as yummy as it looked and smelled. Even my
I made this recipe last night for dinner and it was delicious! I am going to buy the book Raw foor Essentials. Can’t wait to try more
I have enjoyed your recipes for a few years now Ani and still loving it. We need more raw food chefs!
@skycub99 thank you for your support!!! and warm wishes. that means a lot to me. thank you!!! xoxo
@cecillbill use organic frozen if out of season, or fresh. always organic tho, to avoid GMOs scaries.
@HealthForward Food and Drug Administration says nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables are SuperFoods! at least we’re in agreement here.
@MovementAsPrayer ideally, yes, soak, and then dry them. always soak nuts and seeds, in ideal world. do best you can tho.
